Starting Over
Published by Derek under Personal on June 16, 2009Nathan and I settled down in RI (for those of you who didn’t know). We have found a beautiful home (pictures soon) in Providence that is more than we could have ever hoped to have found. It was a bit of a coincidence, but that seems to be the nature of things in my life these days.
Soon after I came back I was given my old job back and we found the perfect home. Soon after I applied to be a yoga instructor and landed my first job ever teaching at a dance studio right down the street. Even before that happened I had found a great piano online for free and have already had my first lesson teaching. I don’t know why but opportunity is just knocking at the door. I must say though that am a little scared about near future.
Finances are tight and troubled. I wish that it weren’t true but it is. I got a huge bill from the IRS telling me I owed them for misfiled taxes… which I must admit is true. I completely forgot to file for my choir job and am now paying the price… Now with my savings depleted I’m a little nervous about money.
I am glad to say Nathan will be at his second interview for a job tomorrow. I have a lot of faith that he will get this one. He seems really excited about the job and I think he is a shoe in. If anyone reads this before Wednesday please envision his success! I think once him and I hone in on what we’re bringing in week to week we’ll both feel a bit lighter.
So far life is a song and the words are keeping things bright. I’m going to post some pictures of the house soon as I get a camera…
